The story behind the brand
On December 9, 2025, our daughter, Ava Marie Smith was born sleeping in peace at 39 weeks. In a season of complete devastation and heartbreak, we found ourselves in bereavement therapy. It was suggested to me that I find a hobby. I wanted to start doing something creative which led me to dozens of Instagram videos that taught me my first stitch. The hope for Little Ava Threads is to bring thrifted items back to life with yarn and love. With that we can say and share Ava’s name 🤍
